Locking Your Inverter’s Settings

Recommendation:

While not mandatory, it is advisable to lock your inverter settings via the touch screen after completing the configuration.

This feature prevents any unwanted parties from making potentially impactful changes, although it does not restrict you or RedEarth from making remote changes.

To lock the touch screen:

1. Navigate to the settings page by pressing the ‘cog’ symbol in the top right corner of the touch screen.

2. Select "Basic Settings."

3. Choose "Enable Lock out all changes."

4. Press the tick symbol in the bottom right corner to enable this setting.

5. Enter a four-digit password when prompted.

After entering the password and selecting “OK,” all settings will be locked.

Instructions to unlock the inverter:

1. Return to the "Basic Settings" menu.

2. Disable the "Lock out all settings" checkbox.

3. Enter your password when prompted.

Help! My inverter is locked and I didn’t set the password

If your inverter is locked and you did not set the password, some inverters use a default password. Try entering 7777. If issues persist, please contact Deye Technical Support at (02) 8089 0216.
